Kutch : Travel Itinerary

Duration: 8 days – 7 nights.

Travel: Pune- Ahmedabad-Pune by flight, and we hired Indigo for the internal travel.

Day 1

Ahmedabad – LRK (100 kms and 2 hours)

Arrive Ahmedabad and drive to http://swatisnacks.com/ for lunch.

Continue to the little Rann of Kutch. Check in at “Bhavna Resort and Farm”. Take the evening safari to see the salt factory and sunset at the Rann.

Stay at http://www.bhavnafarm.com/

(My review of Bhavna farm: Good ambience, good food and friendly hosts. The rooms from inside are average and the bathrooms could be better. Overall a good budget option.)

Day 2

LRK – Devpur (Approx 300 kms and 6 hours)

Take morning safari to see the Wild Ass of Kutch and birds.  Have brunch and leave for Devpur. Enroute make stops to break journey and see Ajrakhpur, www.khamir.org and www.shrujan.org and reach Devpur  by evening.

Stay at www.devpurhomestay.in

(My review of Devpur Homestay: Good ambience, good homely food and the best hosts I have come across. The rooms are spacious and clean. Highly recommended for stay in Kutch.)
